Braveship – creating value through autonomy and trust

The world of work is undergoing an unprecedented transformation. Traditional hierarchical structures are no longer sufficient to respond to the speed of the market, increasing complexity and the advent of artificial intelligence as a lever for systemic change.

That is why I am delighted to talk about the path Var Group is taking during the webinar ‘Braveship – creating value through autonomy and trust’, which will be held on 19 February 2026 from 6.30pm to 7.30pm, organised by the Project Management Institute and moderated by Donatella Calderini, President of PMI Central Italy Chapter.

During the meeting, I will talk about the profound organisational review we have undertaken, introducing the Open Platform Organisation model: an open, distributed structure based on people's autonomy and shared leadership.

This model integrates the experience of Haier's Platform Organisation, a global leader in autonomous micro-enterprise organisation, with the principles of the Open Organisation, a social technology inspired by Holacracy that puts decision-making power in the hands of people.
